Dave Garriepy has nearly 20 years experience in both federal and multi-state government affairs as well as PAC management. 

Prior to joining TSG, Dave was the Director of State-Federal Relations for Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, where he led the Administration’s work with the White House, federal agencies and the Massachusetts Congressional delegation. Additionally, he served as the primary liaison for the Governor to the National Governors Association, the Republican Governors Public Policy Committee and the Coalition for Northeastern Governors.

Dave brings extensive experience in association advocacy, having worked across both state and party lines representing a variety of industries. Dave held both state and federal government affairs positions for the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), representing the largest and most successful brands in the retail industry and managed their RILA PAC. He also held state government affairs positions for the Toy Association, managing all efforts in the 26-state eastern region, and with the Association of Global Automakers advocating on behalf of 14 international auto manufacturers on issues such as trade, automated vehicles and zero emission vehicles. 

Earlier in his career, Dave served as Legislative Aide for Governor Mitt Romney, an aide on Lt. Governor Kerry Healy’s Gubernatorial Campaign and Deputy Legislative Director for the Massachusetts House Minority Leader. 

Dave is a Maine native and a graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he currently serves as a board member for the UMass Alumni Association.
